Market update

Kentuckiana Market Update — Week of Sep 21–27, 2026

I spent some time this week looking over the housing market for Southern Indiana and Central Kentucky. This is my opinion — not a full MLS report — based on what I could verify myself. Prices and status change fast, so always double-check before you act.

What I found

  • Southern Indiana: 3 new listings, 2 price reductions
  • Central Kentucky: 19 new listings, 2 price reductions

That’s 22 new listings and 4 price reductions I could confirm for the week.

In my opinion, these were the strongest new listings between $200,000 and $1,200,000 (address and price only):

  1. 905 S Sherrin Ave, Louisville, KY — $775,000
  2. 602 Sunset Rd, Louisville, KY — $774,900
  3. 6205 River Rd, Prospect, KY — $765,000
  4. 5723 Moser Farm Rd, Prospect, KY — $725,000
  5. 909 Artisan Pkwy, La Grange, KY — $600,000
  6. 98 Plantation Dr, Shelbyville, KY — $595,000
  7. 8314 Nottingham Pkwy, Louisville, KY — $475,000
  8. 4410 Stone Wynde Dr, Louisville, KY — $425,000
  9. 1233 Vance Ave, New Albany, IN — $360,000
  10. 2767 Abby Wds Dr, Jeffersonville, IN — $354,900

Every price reduction I verified

  • 3936 Sarah Ln, New Albany, IN — was $399,900, now $379,900
  • 103 Arbor Ct, Sellersburg, IN — was $389,900, now $384,900
  • 6416 Moonseed St, Prospect, KY — was $899,000, now $875,000
  • 5718 Moser Farm Rd, Prospect, KY — was $675,000, now $672,500

If you’re buying or selling on either side of the river, call or text me at 502-232-1915 — happy to dig into what fits your plan.
