I'm a real estate agent who works with buyers and sellers across ten counties on both sides of the Ohio River: Oldham, Shelby, Trimble, Anderson, Franklin, Spencer, Nelson and Bullitt in Kentucky, and Floyd, Clark, and Jefferson in Indiana. My ten counties, on both banks of the Ohio River, share a region and a daily rhythm. Families cross the river for work, for school runs, and for the right house at the right price. I work every county so your options always include all of them.
Central Kentucky
Oldham, Shelby, Trimble, Anderson, Franklin, Spencer, Nelson and Bullitt counties: horse farms and limestone fences near Louisville, small town squares, and the state capital at Frankfort, all within an easy drive.
Southern Indiana
From Floyd and Clark counties across the Ohio from Louisville, plus Jefferson County farther up the river: historic main streets, room to spread out, and a short bridge hop to the city for work and weekends.
